29 today 🥰

My birthday is without fail the most “reflective” day of the year for me, I can’t help but think back over years gone by or what the future might look like - and of course this year was no different.

But when I opened my notes app to write a “30 before 30 list” I got stuck after number 1.

I wrote “Marry my best friend” and couldn’t think of a whole lot else to add 🥹

The last 10 years have been huge - high highs and low lows, building a life I’m SO grateful for. Really, all I want is more of THIS.

Flexibility to show up for the people I love, look after myself, and doing work that I’m excited about with wonderful people.

A little reminder that when we’re all looking ahead and setting goals for 2026 to make sure you’re going after a life that’s yours, and one that will *actually* make you happy.

This morning I was lucky enough to spend a couple of hours with a gorgeous group of business owners, celebrating the truly wonderful @alice_benham & the launch of ON IT 2026 🎉

If you don’t know (get to know 👀) ON IT is all about working ON your business - so naturally, over a deeeelicious breakfast, Alice challenged us to share what we’ve achieved this year.

The things that were maybe once “wouldn’t it be cool if’s” and have become “isn’t it cool that’s” - thanks to taking the messy action.

For me, 2025 has followed 2 main themes: showing up for the people I love, and having a serious identity shift.

It may not have been a year filled with shiny, gram-worthy milestones but it’s really shown me what MY version of success looks like, and I’m going into 2026 with a much clearer vision and plenty to be proud of in life away from the laptop 💖

@alice_benham - thank you for such an epic morning. Being in that room to hear and celebrate everyone’s wins, not least what a bloody brilliant program you’ve created, was an absolute TREAT.

It’s important.

But a content strategy that lives in your Asana is like a candle with no wick. Looks pretty on your shelf, but .. where’s the flame?

When you have the balls to content that feels like YOU? It’s gonna light you UP 💪

You’ll become more memorable because you’re no longer blending in to be like everyone else.

You’ll get enquiries from clients that are an absolute vibe, because they were attracted to your *actual* personality.

You’ll post more consistently because you’ll - dare I say if - be having fun AND save time now that you’re not rewriting your caption 8 times in a bid to sound smarter.

You don’t hate content, you hate feeling like an actress every time you sit down to create. You hate the effort it takes to replicate someone else’s strategy. You hate that you’re shouting into a void and getting nothing back.

So quit acting and talk like YOU.

Start conversations that YOU are interested in having.
